Located in the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, Cradle Mountain is like nothing else in the world. With a number of hiking trails, unreal scenery, epic views and loads of Australian wildlife, this area is without a doubt a must-do when travelling along the west coast of Tasmania.

There are a number of hiking trails located around Cradle Mountain, ranging from easy to very challenging. Walk through enchanting rainforests, rock climb to the summit and enjoy the Australian wildlife on the way up. See phenomenal views from all over the Cradle Mountain region.

Dove Lake

The most popular destination in the Cradle Mountain National Park, Dove Lake offers beautiful views and a great walking trail. The Dove Lake Circuit takes approximately 2 hours (5.1 km one way) and is very accessible and easy. From Dove Lake there is an incredible views on the Cradle Mountain Summit and a view of the mountain ranges.
